Jenna was born in Los Angeles, California, at the famous Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Her father was a lawyer and her mother worked at a bank as a manager. Ever since she was a young child, Jenna was interested in every aspect of music, from writing it to playing it. She attended Beverly Hills High School, where she excelled in most of her classes, especially arts, music, and theater. In college she majored in theater and studied that for the first two years. However, soon she found that she did not want to make a living being an actress. She wanted to make a living being a musician. There were two reason for this: She was more passionate about music, and she figured it would be "easier to break into the music industry" than it would be to break into acting. Soon she changed majors and studied music for the next three years. She took a lot of upper divison music courses, and she did well in all of them. In her senior year of college, she was promoted to Teachers Assistant, where she helped other music students, and she helped the professors in their teaching. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and they have one child. They also have a golden retriever dog as a pet. In her spare time she solves puzzles and works out.
